Wallabies recall Kurtley Beale and two others for UK tour

Wallabies head coach Les Kiss has announced three additions to the Australian squad for the upcoming Nations Championship tour in Europe. Veteran utility back Kurtley Beale, 37, has been recalled to the national side for the first time since 2021. Beale, who holds 95 Test caps, will replace midfielder Hunter Paisami, who withdrew from the tour for personal reasons.

Joining Beale in the squad are 28-year-old outside back James Ramm and scrum-half Kalani Thomas. Ramm, who recently played for Northland in New Zealand and previously for Northampton Saints in England, is expected to provide coverage at wing and fullback. Thomas will join the group following his commitments with Australia A.

The Wallabies are scheduled to face England, Scotland, and Wales during their November programme, followed by the inaugural Nations Championship finals in the UK. Beale, currently playing for the Western Force, is expected to primarily cover the inside centre position but offers versatility across the backline.
