Kurume Institute of Technology to launch career support cafe

Kurume Institute of Technology, located in Fukuoka Prefecture, has partnered with Enrission to open ‘Shiru Cafe,’ a career support cafe dedicated to students, on its campus starting this November.

Shiru Cafe provides a space where students can enjoy free drinks while participating in ‘Meetup’ events—small-group exchange sessions with professionals and companies. This allows students to explore various industries and work styles in a casual, non-recruitment-focused environment. The cafe is operated by student staff, offering them practical business experience in a safe setting.

The facility will be located within the newly completed Comridge student exchange building. While students use the services for free, the cafe is funded by companies that pay to engage in long-term relationship building and brand formation with the student body.
