Kurume National College of Technology hosts student experience program
Kurume National College of Technology held a two-day experience program on August 18 and 19 for junior high school students interested in pursuing higher education at the institution.
The Mechanical Engineering Department showcased various educational activities, including demonstrations of 3D printing, 3D CAD, laser processing, and Stirling engine experiments. Students also exhibited projects such as Karakuri puppets, flying robots, and robotics competition models. The event allowed prospective students and their parents to interact with senior students to learn about academic life and career paths. The department highlighted its focus on practical manufacturing skills, noting that its curriculum is highly regarded by industry, contributing to over 800 job openings annually.
