Kusan: City of Wolves launches on PC, consoles as hardcore top‑down shooter

The neo‑noir action game Kusan: City of Wolves was released on 30 July 2026 for PC (Steam), PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch. Developed by CIRCLEfromDOT and published by PQube, the game puts players in the role of Jin, an ex‑soldier‑turned‑mercenary who must rescue a mysterious girl amid a violent, corruption‑run metropolis.

The title features 54 hand‑crafted stages, one‑hit‑death mechanics, and a high‑skill load‑out system called Techtrix. Its fast‑paced gunplay, stylised comic‑panel storytelling and a Korean hip‑hop soundtrack by Loptimist have drawn comparisons to Hotline Miami. Review scores are strong, with Metacritic listing an 84 / 100 for the PC version.

Critics praise the visual style and relentless difficulty, while noting the steep learning curve. The game is available worldwide, with physical editions for PS5 and Switch in Japan.
