Kusunoki Publishing expands distribution for Shonen Tantei series

Kusunoki Publishing, based in Kazo, Saitama Prefecture, is expanding the reach of its novel series, “Shonen Tantei no Digital Sketchpad” by author Kusunoki. Originally launched in March 2026 through two local bookstores in Kazo, the series has grown to be available in major bookstores nationwide, from Sapporo to Naha.

Starting in November 2026, the publisher will utilize the “Issatsu! Torihikijo” cloud-based ordering service to allow non-traditional retailers, such as gift shops and tourist facilities, to stock the books. This service enables businesses to order as little as a single copy with free shipping, a move intended to support book availability in regions where traditional bookstores may be scarce.

The publisher is also set to release the fourth volume of the series, “Mafuyu no Ichigo to Suiro no Yakusoku,” on November 14, 2026, which coincides with Saitama Prefectural Citizens' Day.
