Kutná Hora council to meet for first time in November

The Kutná Hora city council is scheduled to hold its inaugural meeting on Tuesday, November 3, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. in the Knight's Hall of the Vlašský dvůr. The session will include the swearing-in of new representatives and the election of the city's leadership.

Following the municipal elections, the winning group, Naše Kutná Hora, secured 13 of the 27 available seats, leaving them one seat short of a majority. Lukáš Seifert, who led the group during the elections, is expected to seek reelection as mayor. Negotiations to form a governing coalition are ongoing, as the group must find a partner to reach the 14-vote threshold required for a majority.

Other parties represented in the council include ANO and LIPISTAN, which each secured four seats, followed by Alternativa pro Vás with three seats, Město pro lidi a osobnosti Kutné Hory with two, and Lidé z praxe with one.
