Kutno officials address visibility concerns over new bridge barriers

The City of Kutno has responded to concerns regarding new yellow barriers installed on the Mickiewicza Street bridge. Following a renovation project costing 172,200 PLN, residents and local councilor Robert Stępniewski raised alarms that the barriers might obstruct visibility for pedestrians and cyclists at nearby crossings.

In response to these inquiries, city officials stated that the installation followed official design documentation and met all legal requirements. The city noted that the barriers were implemented based on recommendations from a firm responsible for inspecting roads and bridges within Kutno. Additionally, the administration asserted that existing vegetation does not limit visibility for drivers approaching the pedestrian and bicycle crossings.
