Kutztown and Princeton secure field hockey victories

In recent collegiate field hockey matchups, No. 2 Kutztown University secured a 2-1 victory over No. 7 Saint Anselm. After a scoreless first three quarters, Kutztown scored twice in the fourth quarter. Marlee Fetrow opened the scoring at the 56:04 mark, followed by a goal from Anna Harris 47 seconds later. Saint Anselm's Meghan Smith scored late to narrow the deficit, but Kutztown held on for the win.

In another contest, No. 4 Princeton defeated Penn State 2-1. Princeton established a 2-0 lead in the second quarter through goals by Pru Lindsey, including one via a penalty stroke. Penn State attempted a comeback in the second half with a goal from Ella Gaitan following a penalty corner, but Princeton's defense prevented further scoring to secure the win.
