Kuwait and Jordan hold first joint consular committee meeting
Kuwait and Jordan convened the first session of their joint consular committee in Amman to enhance bilateral cooperation and coordination mechanisms. The meeting, hosted by the Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, aimed to facilitate procedures for citizens of both nations.
Key topics of discussion included expanding the use of Jordanian expertise in the Kuwaiti labor market, supporting students from both countries, and developing cooperation in health and medical sectors, specifically regarding patient treatment procedures. Officials also addressed challenges facing Jordanian communities in Kuwait and Kuwaiti communities in Jordan to improve consular services.
The delegations were led by Kuwaiti Assistant Foreign Minister for Consular Affairs Ambassador Aziz Al-Dihani and Jordanian Director of Consular Affairs Dr. Maan Musaida. The two sides agreed to establish a follow-up mechanism to ensure the implementation of the meeting's outcomes and maintain continuous communication between relevant government entities.
