Kuwait and Palestine Report High Pass Rates in Secondary Exams

The Eastern Province of Kuwait announced the results of the second‑round intermediate certificate exams for the 2025/2026 academic year. Governor Hazzam Al‑Ashmouni confirmed an overall pass rate of 77.85% for the general track, with 86.05% for the professional track and 100% for special categories of deaf and blind students. In total, 147,708 candidates sat for both rounds, and 137,377 passed, yielding an overall success rate of 94.76%.

In the Palestinian territories, the Al‑Azhar secondary school board released its second‑round results, showing a 97.71% pass rate across both scientific and literary streams. Sheikh Ayman Abdel Ghani, acting deputy of Al‑Azhar, congratulated the successful students and announced a scholarship program for those with scores above 90%, linking them to Al‑Azhar University opportunities.
