Kuwait defeats Oman in ACC Men's Premier Cup

In the ACC Men’s Premier Cup Group B encounter in Malaysia, Kuwait secured a four-wicket victory over Oman with just two balls remaining. Despite Oman posting a competitive total of 252/8, Bilal Tahir’s unbeaten century of 103 guided Kuwait to a target of 256/6 in 49.4 overs.

Oman’s innings featured a top score of 53 from Jiten Ramanandi. Although Oman’s bowlers initially pressured Kuwait, reducing them to 37/3, Tahir’s composure proved decisive.

Following this result, Oman is scheduled to face the United Arab Emirates in another Group B match at the YSD-UKM Cricket Oval. This tournament serves as a qualification pathway for the 2027 Men's Asia Cup.
