Kuwait foils terrorist plot targeting vital facility

The Kuwaiti Ministry of Interior announced on Wednesday that security agencies foiled a terrorist plot targeting an unnamed vital facility in the country. A Kuwaiti national affiliated with Daesh was arrested before he could execute the plan.

Investigations revealed that the suspect had received training in the manufacture of explosives and drones. He had reportedly constructed a drone specifically intended for use in the terrorist attack. The suspect has been referred to the relevant authorities for further investigation and legal proceedings.

The Ministry emphasized its commitment to proactive security measures to monitor and confront any activities that threaten national stability, stating it will deal firmly with any suspicious activities according to the law.
