Kuwait Ministry of Education tests e-learning readiness via Microsoft Teams
The Kuwaiti Ministry of Education conducted a one-hour trial using the Microsoft Teams platform across all educational stages, including primary, intermediate, and secondary levels. The exercise aimed to assess the readiness of schools, teaching staff, and students for remote learning and to evaluate the technical and organizational efficiency of the digital system.
During the trial, Minister of Education Jalal Al-Tabtabai monitored the process by attending three remote sessions in different schools. These sessions covered social studies, constitution, and English language subjects. The Minister observed student-teacher interaction and the ability of educators to deliver curriculum content effectively in a virtual environment.
Initial observations indicated that the targeted classes did not encounter significant issues during the remote sessions. The ministry intends to use the data gathered to identify and resolve any obstacles, ultimately enhancing the efficiency of the national e-learning system.
