Kuwait Ministry of Interior conducts security campaign in Khaitan

The Kuwaiti Ministry of Interior, through the Farwaniya Governorate security directorate, conducted a large-scale joint security campaign in the Khaitan area. The operation, carried out in coordination with various government agencies, resulted in 693 seizures, violations, and legal actions.

Security enforcement led to the detention of 65 individuals wanted for absconding or expired residency, seven visa violators, one person banned from entering the country, and three individuals wanted under civil arrest warrants. Additionally, authorities arrested individuals involved in drug-related offenses, theft, and public intoxication. Traffic enforcement resulted in 44 violations and the impounding of 33 abandoned vehicles, alongside the seizure of several vehicles linked to theft and breach of trust.

Participating regulatory bodies also recorded numerous infractions. The Kuwait Municipality issued 108 building law violations and placed stickers on 53 non-compliant properties. The Kuwait Fire Force issued 202 notices to correct violations, closed 43 facilities, and issued 25 closure warnings. Other agencies, including the Public Authority for Manpower, the Environment Public Authority, the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, and the Ministry of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy, recorded various labor, environmental, commercial, and utility-related violations.
