Kuwait's Ministry of Interior announced that reports circulating on social media about the arrest of a terrorist cell inside the country are unfounded. The ministry emphasized that any genuine security‑related incidents will be communicated through official channels in accordance with established procedures.

It also warned the public to verify information only from the ministry’s authorized accounts and other state institutions, stating that publishing or resharing false news that could harm public interest may result in legal accountability.
