Kuwait Municipality launches nationwide inspection campaigns

Kuwait Municipality has announced the intensification of its regulatory role through large-scale field inspection campaigns across all governorates in the country. The initiative aims to enforce municipal regulations and systems across several vital sectors.

According to Mohammad Al-Sandan, Director of Public Relations and official spokesperson for the municipality, the inspections will focus on safety, cleanliness, construction, service licenses for various activities, and all types of advertising. Safety teams will specifically monitor security and safety standards at renovation and construction sites, while also working to prevent the illegal dumping of debris and ensuring contractors comply with requirements.

Additional enforcement efforts include addressing road obstructions by removing marine boats from public squares, plazas, and parking lots in service, industrial, and commercial areas. Violators will be required to park boats only in designated areas. Furthermore, cleaning teams will monitor high-density areas to reduce hygiene violations, while audit teams will inspect wholesale and retail markets to ensure proper health licensing for all business activities.
