Kuwait Worker Killed in Iranian Strike on Chinese Firm

An Iranian missile strike hit a building owned by a Chinese company in northern Kuwait, killing one worker and causing significant material damage, the Kuwaiti Defense Ministry said. The incident adds a new flashpoint to the widening U.S.–Iran conflict in the region.

Jordan’s army reported that its air defenses intercepted five Iranian missiles aimed at its territory, with no casualties. Meanwhile, the U.S. Central Command announced a heavy series of strikes on dozens of Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps targets, including command centers, missile and drone installations, and coastal surveillance sites.

Pakistan, acting as a mediator, said negotiations between the United States and Iran were ongoing to de‑escalate tensions, particularly concerning the Strait of Hormuz.
