KUZÁ Beach & Adventure Park launches educational tours and conservation initiative in Cozumel
KUZÁ Beach & Adventure Park in Cozumel has launched ‘Expedición Natural Kuzá’, an educational experience designed to teach visitors about the island's ecosystems. The program includes guided tours through native vegetation, bird watching, and lessons on the importance of mangroves and melipona bees.
In conjunction with this launch, the park announced that over 22 hectares of mangrove forest in Cozumel have been incorporated into a voluntary conservation scheme for the next 25 years. This area received certification as a Voluntarily Destined Area for Conservation (ADVC) from the National Commission of Protected Natural Areas (Conanp).
The park offers various amenities for cruise passengers, including a water park with slides, snorkeling access to the reef system, and over one kilometer of beachfront across its 160-acre property.
