KV Mechelen and Lommel SK play to a scoreless draw

KV Mechelen and Lommel SK played to a 0-0 draw on Saturday evening at the Stedelijk Sportstadion. Despite several opportunities for both sides, neither team was able to find the back of the net.

KV Mechelen, led by coach Fred Vanderbiest, struggled to convert pressure into scoring chances. A late opportunity to break their poor run of form fell to substitute Malcolm Mbasi, who failed to capitalize deep in stoppage time. The result leaves KV Mechelen in a difficult position with only three points from seven matches as they head into the international break.
