KVC Westerlo signs Welsh winger Cameron Congreve

Belgian club KVC Westerlo announced the signing of 22‑year‑old Welsh international winger Cameron Congreve from Swansea City. The player agreed to a four‑year contract with a reported transfer fee of about €1 million and a buy‑back clause for the Championship side. Congreve, a product of Swansea’s academy, spent recent seasons on loan at Bromley and Dundee FC, making 34 appearances for the Scottish club with three goals and six assists and helping them finish eighth. He earned his first senior cap for Wales in June under coach Craig Bellamy. Westerlo said the addition will strengthen the flanks and replace the departing forward Allahyar Sayyadmanesh. The club also hinted at a possible signing of Cisse Sandra from Club Brugge.
