Kwam 1 brokers peace between NURTW leaders MC Oluomo and Tafa Sego

Fuji musician Wasiu Ayinde Marshal, known as Kwam 1, has brokered a peace agreement between two prominent leaders of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW). The reconciliation resolves a long-standing rift between the union's National President, Musiliu Akinsanya (MC Oluomo), and the Lagos State Chairman, Mustapha Adekunle (Tafa Sego).

The meeting took place at Ojusagbola in Ijebu, Ogun State, and was attended by several NURTW chieftains. Kwam 1, acting in his capacity as the Mayegun of Yorubaland, mediated the session to end years of tension between the two former allies. The dispute had previously been linked to leadership struggles within the Lagos chapter of the union.

The development was announced via Kwam 1's social media, where photographs of the meeting were shared. Both parties expressed satisfaction with the resolution, which is described as a final settlement of their differences.
