Kwame Dzokoto denies death and serious illness rumours

Veteran Ghanaian actor and broadcaster Kwame Dzokoto has addressed and dismissed viral social media rumours claiming he had died or was gravely ill. The speculation intensified after footage of his appearance at a recent event in Accra led some users and bloggers to question his health.

Speaking on B.E. TV, Dzokoto clarified that while he is alive, he has been managing health challenges including diabetes and high blood pressure. He noted that he recently underwent surgery abroad with support from Ibrahim Mahama and is currently in recovery. He attributed some of his ongoing health struggles to the realities of ageing.

Dzokoto expressed concern regarding the emotional distress these false reports cause his family members. He urged social media users and bloggers to exercise greater responsibility before publishing unverified information.
