Kwara North monarchs thank Tinubu, AbdulRazaq for backing APC 2027 governor candidate

Traditional rulers of Kwada North Senatorial District praised President Bola Tinubu, Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq and the All Progressives Congress for supporting Engr Yakubu Danladi‑Salihu as the APC gubernatorial candidate for the 2027 elections. The council, led by Etsu Patigi Alhaji Ibrahim Umar Bologi II, described the decision as a historic milestone that demonstrates fairness, inclusiveness and political balance in the state.

The monarchs said the endorsement "backs Kwara North’s aspiration" and reinforces justice, unity and peaceful coexistence. They expressed renewed hope, stronger political harmony and pledged continued support for peace, democracy and development, while praying for wisdom and guidance for the president and governor. One statement said, "We have been orphans in Kwara State, but now we have a father in you," thanking the leaders for giving the region a voice in the upcoming election.
