Kwara NSCDC arrests two for operating unlicensed security outfit

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) Kwara State Command has arrested two men, Abraham Stephen Job and Adebowale Qazeem Adeniyi, for allegedly operating an unlicensed private security company named Double Razzor.

An investigation into the outfit revealed that it was providing regulated services, including bouncer duties, without the necessary statutory authorization or licenses required by Nigerian law. The NSCDC stated that it holds the legal responsibility to regulate and license all private guard companies in the country.

State Commandant Abbas Ndah Mohammed reaffirmed the command’s commitment to enforcing compliance and preventing unauthorized security operations. He advised event organizers and corporate entities to engage only duly licensed providers to ensure accountability and public safety.
