Kwon Do-hun holds first watercolor solo exhibition in Daegu

Former visual designer Kwon Do-hun is holding his first watercolor solo exhibition, titled ‘Taste of a Clear and Deep Well,’ at Lilac Track 1956 in Daegu. The exhibition features over 40 works capturing natural elements such as the sky, trees, water, and rocks.

After 30 years in the design industry, Kwon transitioned to fine arts after opening the cultural space Lilac Track 1956. He describes his watercolor process as a practice of “compliance and letting go,” allowing water and paper to guide the movement rather than forcing precise lines.

The exhibition is held at a site with historical significance, located near the former homes of poet Yi Sang-hwa and independence activist Yi Sang-jeong. The event runs from September 11 through September 30, with daily viewing hours from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
