Kwon Sang Woo's son obtains driver's license in the US

Actor Kwon Sang Woo and his wife, Son Tae Young, shared updates regarding their family life in a recent video on Son’s YouTube channel, ‘Mrs. New Jersey’. The couple, who married in 2008, currently manage a long-distance family dynamic, with Son and their two children residing in New Jersey, USA, while Kwon travels frequently to South Korea for work.

Kwon announced that their 17-year-old son, Ruk Hee, has successfully obtained his driver’s license in the United States. To support his newfound independence, the family provided him with a used Jeep Wrangler 4xe hybrid SUV, valued at approximately 45 million won. Kwon noted that while he feels relieved that his son can now drive himself to school and extracurricular activities, he still harbors parental concerns regarding the new responsibility.

Additionally, Son Tae Young reflected on the couple’s early dating years, noting that they preferred quiet home dates over drinking. She recalled that during their courtship, they often spent time at Kwon’s home, where his mother would frequently prepare meals for them. The video also captured the emotional farewell as Kwon prepared to return to South Korea for his filming schedule.
