Dr. Kingsley Agyemang, the Member of Parliament for Abuakwa South, has donated medical equipment and consumables to the Kyebi Government Hospital. The donation includes suction machines, electronic weighing scales, pulse oximeters, blood pressure machines, thermometers, patient monitors, wheelchairs, and a cardiotocography machine. Additionally, Dr. Agyemang settled the medical bills for all current in-patients at the facility.

During the presentation, the hospital's Medical Superintendent, Dr. Isaac Antwi, revealed that the facility's oxygen plant has been out of service for over three years. This failure has forced management to source oxygen cylinders from Koforidua. Dr. Antwi estimated that repairing the plant would cost GH¢500,000.

Looking forward, Dr. Agyemang announced plans to establish a dialysis centre in the constituency next year to address rising kidney-related conditions. He also noted that construction of accommodation for health workers is currently ongoing in Asiakwa to address housing challenges for medical personnel.
