Kramatorsk bus attack: Russian strike kills at least 33 people

A Russian strike using a glide bomb hit two civilian buses in Kramatorsk, causing at least 33 deaths and 18 injuries. The attack, which occurred in the Donetsk region, targeted public transport, prompting local authorities to suspend all bus services in Kramatorsk and Sloviansk.

Donetsk Governor Vadym Filashkin accused Russian forces of deliberately targeting civilians. The Donetsk Regional Prosecutor's Office has launched a preliminary investigation into the incident as a potential war crime. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy condemned the strike, stating it would not go unanswered.

This incident follows a wave of intense Russian attacks across Ukraine. In Pryluky, a strike on a residential building killed at least 22 people, including five children. Additionally, drone strikes in Kyiv caused further casualties and infrastructure damage, including power and water disruptions.
