Kyiv warehouse strike destroys Olena Zelenska's charity aid
A Russian drone and missile attack in Kyiv has completely destroyed a warehouse belonging to the Olena Zelenska Charity Foundation. The facility held humanitarian aid intended for children, families, and various institutions across Ukraine.
Among the destroyed items were goods organized by the Latvian charity 'Ziedot. lv', including laptops purchased with donations from Latvian citizens. These computers were specifically intended to help Ukrainian students continue their education from home, shelters, or underground schools. Other lost supplies included generators, medical equipment, household appliances, tablets, and electronic books.
The Zelenska Foundation reported heavy losses and is currently assessing the impact on its aid programs, though it emphasized that the attack will not halt its operations. Rūta Dimanta, head of 'Ziedot. lv', called for continued support and international pressure on Russia as winter approaches.
