KYK dormitory fees to increase by 23 percent

The Credit and Dormitories Institution (KYK) has announced a 23 percent increase in monthly dormitory fees for the 2026-2027 academic year. The monthly rate will rise from 1,290 TL to 1,590 TL, representing a 300 TL monthly increase.

This adjustment will impact university students residing in state-run dormitories. On an annual basis, the total cost for 12 months of housing will increase from 15,480 TL to 19,080 TL, an overall yearly rise of 3,600 TL. The new rates are expected to take effect at the start of the upcoming academic term.
