Kyle Fletcher discusses AEW singles success and Aussie Open reunion

Professional wrestler Kyle Fletcher has discussed his professional evolution and his relationship with longtime tag team partner Mark Davis. Formerly known as the tag team Aussie Open, both men have transitioned into successful singles competitors within All Elite Wrestling (AEW).

Speaking on the Battleground Podcast, Fletcher addressed the guilt he felt during his rise as a singles star while Davis was sidelined by injury. Fletcher noted that while he was excited for his new opportunities, he worried that his individual success might lead to his best friend being forgotten.

Fletcher expressed interest in a potential future full-time tag team run with Davis, noting that while they have outgrown their previous iteration, he is excited by the prospect of seeing what a reformed Aussie Open could look like as their current selves. Davis has since returned to action and achieved his own success in AEW, including winning the AEW National Championship.
