Former NBA All-Star Kyle Korver is departing from his role as assistant general manager of the Atlanta Hawks. The split is reportedly amicable, with Korver leaving on “good terms” to pursue his next post-playing chapter and spend more time with his family.

Korver joined the Hawks front office in the summer of 2022, initially serving as the director of player affairs and development before being promoted to assistant GM in January 2023. During his four-year tenure with the organization, the Hawks missed the playoffs in 2024 and 2025 but returned to the postseason for the 2025-26 campaign.

Korver played 17 seasons in the NBA after being selected 51st overall in the 2003 draft. He was known as a premier sharpshooter, earning an All-Star selection during the 2014-15 season while playing for Atlanta.
