Kyle MacLachlan expresses interest in returning to Sex and the City franchise

Actor Kyle MacLachlan has expressed interest in reprising his role as Trey MacDougal, the ex-husband of Charlotte York, in a future installment of the Sex and the City franchise. While MacLachlan did not appear in the revival series, And Just Like That, he indicated during Heidi Klum’s Halloween party in New York City that he would welcome a return.

MacLachlan stated that the character has “unfinished business” and joked about the possibility of a new spin-off. He also noted that he maintains friendships with several former colleagues, including Kristin Davis, Chris Noth, showrunner Michael Patrick King, and original creator Darren Starr.
