Kyle Oubre joins Partizan for EuroLeague debut

American point guard Kyle Oubre, who holds a Montenegrin passport, has joined Partizan for his first EuroLeague season following a stint with Turk Telekom. In his first interview with the club, Oubre expressed his readiness for the challenges of the elite competition and his desire to contribute to a winning team.

Oubre noted that he aligns with coach Joan Penarroja’s vision for a fast-paced game focused on transition and exciting action. He described the team roster as being composed of selfless players and mentioned that he is currently adapting to his new teammates and the environment in Belgrade.

Oubre also highlighted his connection to former Partizan captain Kevin Panter, whom he regards as an older brother. He expressed admiration for Panter’s leadership and the strong bond the player established with the fans, stating his hope to create a similar connection with the supporters this season.
