Kyle Ryde maintains BSB lead after Donington Park drama

The British Superbike Championship title race has intensified following the round at Donington Park. Kyle Ryde, the defending champion, secured victories in the first and second races of the weekend, appearing to take a significant step toward his third title.

However, Ryde’s lead narrowed in the third race due to technical issues. Scott Redding capitalized on the situation by winning the final race, leaving the championship battle wide open. Heading into the season finale at Brands Hatch, Ryde maintains a 53-point advantage over Redding.

Ryan Vickers also saw a successful return to the circuit, securing three podium finishes despite facing mechanical challenges and physical injury. Vickers reported struggling with bike vibrations and a stretched chain during the final race, but expressed satisfaction with his performance and the team's progress.
