Kyle Stowers placed on Marlins 10-day injured list
Miami Marlins first baseman and outfielder Kyle Stowers has been placed on the 10-day injured list due to a left hamstring strain. The move was made retroactive to Monday.
Stowers, 28, had previously started the season on the injured list with a right hamstring strain. He experienced discomfort during Sunday's game after hitting a two-run single, exiting the game while limping. Since June 1, Stowers has hit .256 with 13 home runs and 41 RBIs in 57 games.
In a corresponding move, the Marlins have recalled third baseman Graham Pauley from Triple-A Jacksonville.
