Chicago Bears general manager Ryan Poles expressed uncertainty regarding the future of slot cornerback Kyler Gordon following a prolonged recovery from a calf injury. Following Poles' comments, videos surfaced on social media from rehab specialist Montel Fleming showing Gordon performing lunges, jumping, and sprinting during private workouts. While the footage suggests Gordon is regaining mobility, the team remains cautious regarding his ability to clear the final hurdles of his recovery.
