Kylian Mbappé endorsement rumors: Li Ning denies deal

Speculation is mounting regarding the future endorsement deals of French footballer Kylian Mbappé following reports that his 19-year partnership with Nike ended in July.

While rumors suggested a potential collaboration with the Chinese sportswear brand Li Ning—including possibilities of Mbappé taking a stake in the company—a spokesperson for the Beijing-based brand has officially denied these claims. The company stated, “Our company has not signed any agreements with the renowned football player,” and noted they have no plans to pursue such a partnership.

Other reports suggest Mbappé may sign with an “unexpected brand” rather than traditional competitors like Adidas or Puma. One possibility being discussed is a deal with the Swiss company On, potentially modeled after Roger Federer’s partnership, which could involve an entrepreneurial stake rather than a standard sponsorship agreement.
