Kylian Mbappé leads Real Madrid to 4-1 victory over Sevilla

Kylian Mbappé scored twice, including a penalty, to lead Real Madrid to a 4-1 win against Sevilla at the Santiago Bernabéu. Arda Güler opened the scoring in the 30th minute, followed by Mbappé in the 37th minute. Yan Diomande added a final goal for Madrid, while Manu Bueno scored Sevilla's lone goal.

The victory moves Real Madrid to third place in La Liga, trailing Atletico Madrid and leaders Barcelona. The win occurred during the absence of Vinicius Júnior, who is serving a four-game suspension following an incident involving an opponent and a referee.

Following the match, Mbappé expressed support for Vinicius Júnior, stating that the Brazilian player “should be calm and proud of the player he is” amid ongoing criticism and controversy. Mbappé also noted that the team is now shifting its focus toward the upcoming Clásico against Barcelona.
