Kylian Mbappé stresses World Cup goals as he launches youth employment program in Morocco

Kylian Mbappé said his main objective at the 2026 World Cup is the team’s collective success, not personal records. Speaking before France’s round‑of‑16 match, he emphasized that "the objective here is not personal, but collective... we want to reach the stadium on 19 July for the final" and highlighted the importance of harmony and teamwork as France prepared to face Paraguay.

Off the pitch, Mbappé’s Inspired by KM association has partnered with the Accor hotel group to roll out the "ibis unlocked" programme, aimed at helping thousands of young people find employment. The initiative, launching in Morocco and later in France, Brazil and Thailand, will provide up to 15 training modules via WhatsApp and target roughly 20,000 youths by 2030. Mbappé, who also holds stakes in health‑tech unicorn Alan and other ventures, said the project reflects his commitment to giving talent opportunities beyond football.
