Kylian Mbappé targets 100th cap for France ahead of 2026 World Cup

Six days after breaking France’s scoring record with 58 goals, Kylian Mbappé is set to earn his 100th appearance for the national side in the June 22 friendly against Iraq. The milestone comes as France prepares for the 2026 World Cup in North America.

At 27, Mbappé already has 14 World Cup goals and could match Ugō Yoris’s record of 145 caps by the end of 2030 if he maintains his current rate of appearances. He also projects to reach 100 international goals by May 2033, based on his average of 0.59 goals per game.
