The verified X account of Kylie Jenner, which has approximately 39.5 million followers, was used to briefly promote a Solana-based memecoin on August 24. The posts, which included a Pump.fun handle and a specific contract address, were deleted within minutes of being published.

Following the posts, the associated token saw its market capitalization spike to approximately $1.21 million before crashing to below $120,000. While there is no public evidence that Jenner authorized the posts or profited from the token, observers suspect the account was compromised. This incident follows a pattern of high-profile account hacks used to exploit follower credibility for rapid cryptocurrency price manipulation.
