Kylie Minogue nearly appeared in new Street Fighter film

Musician Orville Peck, who stars as Vega in the new ‘Street Fighter’ film, revealed that efforts were made to secure a cameo from Australian pop icon Kylie Minogue. Minogue originally played the character Cammy in the 1994 film adaptation.

Peck stated that he attempted to help orchestrate the appearance, but scheduling conflicts ultimately prevented her participation. According to Peck, Minogue expressed great enthusiasm for the project and noted that filming the original 1994 movie was ‘one of the most fun experiences of her life.’

Peck is currently attempting to arrange a meeting between Minogue and Mel Jarnson, the actress portraying Cammy in the new adaptation.
