Kymi Municipal Unit undergoes various infrastructure works

Various infrastructure and public works projects are currently underway in the Kymi Municipal Unit of Evia. These interventions include renovations to local schools, specifically the Kymi Gymnasium and Lyceum, as well as improvements to the municipal nursery.

Additional works are being carried out at the municipal football stadium, where machinery has arrived to construct storm drainage channels and materials for a new turf have been delivered. Furthermore, restoration efforts are focused on the Choneftiko Spring and its access path to ensure the site remains accessible to residents and visitors. Maintenance is also being conducted on the historic residence of Georgios Papanikolaou to preserve the local landmark.
