Kyndryl to acquire Healthcare IT Leaders to boost healthcare AI services

Kyndryl has announced its intent to acquire Healthcare IT Leaders, LLC, an enterprise IT services and consulting provider specializing in hospitals, health systems, and payors. The acquisition aims to integrate Kyndryl’s core IT infrastructure and AI-led modernization capabilities with Healthcare IT Leaders’ expertise in clinical, operational, and workforce application managed services.

By combining these services, Kyndryl intends to provide a single point of accountability across the healthcare technology stack, addressing the complexities of electronic health records (EHR), network security, and cloud hosting. The move is designed to help healthcare organizations manage clinical and workforce systems while maintaining security and compliance.

The financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed. The deal is expected to close during the second quarter of Kyndryl’s fiscal year 2027, subject to regulatory review and customary closing conditions.
