Kyobo Securities launches internship; Korean brokers expand services

Kyobo Securities announced a recruitment-linked internship program aimed at accelerating digital transformation and strengthening information security. The six‑week internship, open to university graduates (including those graduating by February 2027), will rotate between the Digital Support Division and the Information Security Division, with participants gaining hands‑on experience in digital service development and security. Applications close on August 2 via the company’s online portal, and successful interns may be offered regular employment after a final interview.

At the same time, Shinhan Investment Securities began a large‑scale advertisement campaign on Seoul’s Line 9 subway, installing screen‑door ads across 25 stations to strengthen its brand presence. Meanwhile, Woori Investment Securities expanded its “Shopping Plus” reward service to the WooriWON mobile trading platform, allowing users to earn “Honey Money” points for purchases at partner merchants, which can be redeemed like cash across the Woori group’s products.
