KYOCERA Fineceramics Medical begins ceramic hip head production in Waiblingen

KYOCERA Fineceramics Medical GmbH has commenced serial production of ceramic hip heads made from BIOCERAM AZUL at its facility in Waiblingen, Germany. This development marks a significant milestone in the company’s expansion within the endoprosthetics sector.

The new production site is designed around Industry 4.0 principles, utilizing highly automated and digitized processes. This approach allows for paperless control and documentation, ensuring high process reliability, full traceability, and consistent quality. The scalable production model is intended to meet the increasing demands of international implant manufacturers.
