Kyoko Yoshine and Kyoya Honda begin filming drama sequel
Lead actors Kyoko Yoshine and Kyoya Honda have officially begun filming for the sequel to the Fuji TV drama ‘Nami Uraraka ni, Meoto Biyori’. Based on the manga by Hachi Nishi, the series is set in 1937 and follows the lives of a young couple, Natsumi Ebata and her husband Masashi, who serves in the Imperial Japanese Navy.
During the first day of filming, the actors returned to the reconstructed Showa-era sets. Yoshine, portraying Natsumi, filmed scenes involving daily domestic life, including preparing meals such as simmered flounder. Honda, portraying Masashi, filmed scenes in a summer naval uniform. Both actors expressed a sense of nostalgia upon returning to the production after a year-long hiatus.
The sequel is scheduled to premiere on October 15 at 10:00 PM on Fuji TV. The cast includes Ikuta Erika, Koseki Yuta, and others.
