Kyosuke Takami signs promotional deal for U.S. debut

Kyosuke Takami boxing Teiken Promotions All Star Boxing flyweight division

Former WBA Light Flyweight World Champion Kyosuke Takami has entered a long-term promotional partnership with Teiken Promotions and All Star Boxing, Inc. to begin his professional career in the United States.

The 23-year-old Japanese boxer has transitioned to the 112-pound flyweight division. He is currently ranked among the top contenders in the division, holding the No. 1 spot by the WBA, No. 4 by the IBF, No. 5 by the WBC, and No. 6 by the WBO.

Takami previously secured the WBA Light Flyweight World Championship in July 2025. The new agreement continues a decades-long professional relationship between Teiken Promotions and the Zabala family of All Star Boxing.
