Kyoto and Hoshino Resorts highlight autumn seasonal programs

Various hospitality providers in Japan are offering specialized seasonal programs to experience autumn scenery.

In Kyoto, several hotels are highlighting opportunities for moon viewing (otsukimi) from private balconies, terraces, or rooftop gardens. Featured locations include The Ritz-Carlton Kyoto, which offers views of the Higashiyama mountains, and The Hotel Seiryu Kyoto Shimizu, which provides views of the Yasaka Pagoda. Other options include Aoi HOTEL KYOTO, K's Villa Kamogawa-an, THE JUNEI HOTEL Kyoto, and Shijo Kawaramachi Onsen Kunitari Terrace Kyoto, which features a rooftop terrace and natural hot springs.

Hoshino Resorts has announced autumn-specific programs across multiple regions. Hoshinoya Kyoto is offering a signature program from mid-November to mid-December involving boat rides and autumn foliage appreciation. In Hokkaido, Hoshino Resorts Tomamu is hosting sunrise and sea of clouds viewing at its Unkai Terrace. Oirase Keiryu Hotel in Aomori is providing autumn stay plans featuring views of the Oirase stream, while Iriomote Island Hotel in Okinawa is hosting a starry night event to showcase the island's high concentration of visible constellations.
